business in the front, party in the back

Sipsey was born with lots o' hair and has not lost any of it yet. Now the back has grown into a mullet. I don't know what to do with it. If she were a boy, I'd for sure cut it. But Sipsey is a girl. Girls grow their hair long. Some parents wait years for their little girls to have this much hair. I can actually pull her hair into a ponytail. If she would be still, I could actually get a rubber band around it. Has anyone ever given a haircut to a 6 month old little girl? I think I want to cut it, but I can imagine how that would go. It might turn out worse than it already is. What should I do?

Come join us over here in mullet world! Pace is still sporting a mullet at 2 1/2...that's why she always wears a pony tail :)

I myself had my first haircut at the age of 6 months. you will have to ask Sipsey's great granny about that. I can't imagine Sipsey sitting still for a haircut, but I guess you could have it done while she is asleep.
