Halloween Recipe: Ghost Cookies

I realize this would be much more relevant posted before Halloween, so just bookmark it for next year (or remember it in your head because it's pretty darn simple)! We went to a friend's annual Halloween party this year and in addition to a yummy dip, I made these cute little ghost cookies to take with us. The "recipe" is just how I like it: 3 ingredients and no baking necessary!

Ingredients: Nutter Butter cookies, a bag of white chocolate chips, and mini M&Ms or Reese's pieces (pronounced "Reesey Piecey" in our household). Melt the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl in ~30 second increments, stirring after each, until all the chips are melted.

Dunk one side of the Nutter Butter into the melted chocolate. Make sure the bottle of Windex is right beside the bowl to ruin all the pictures.

ghosts2
Allow the excess chocolate to drip off, then turn the cookie chocolate side up and jiggle it around a little so that it evenly coats the cookie.

ghosts4
Add a mini candy for the eyes and mouth and you have yourself a very tasty ghost cookie.

My helper with the candy eyes and mouths disappeared halfway through her job and returned like this.

My other helper just watched.

Add ghosts to a pretty tray and you're ready to go!

1) You're braver than I am; I hate anything that requires dipping in chocolate. I make a huge mess!

2) Too funny about Sipsey & the costume. Luke does the same thing. That boy LOVES a costume. I've saved all of Matthew's, so we have quite a collection. I keep them all in one of those Ziplock Big Bag things in his closet, so he can play with them by himself, and I never know what I might see!
