Rolling Over!

Last week when I was in Dothan, Sipsey learned a new trick! I would put her in the Pack N Play to sleep on her tummy, and when she would wake up to eat, she would be on her back! It was so funny to find her looking up at the ceiling like, "How in the world did I do this?" Here are some pictures from Dothan and Birmingham.

She also likes to just roll over to her side and play with and eat her blanket! The only problem is that as soon as she rolls over to her back, she can't go back to sleep because she won't sleep on her back - the reason we had to start to putting her to sleep on her tummy! Fortunately, she is still sleeping through the night. It's only during her naps in the day that she rolls over to her back prematurely and is ready to get up. But I think that's just a sign that she's ready to start taking shorter naps and stay awake longer in between them! She thinks she's such a big girl!

So cute. William is now rolling over on his stomach during the night and wakes up screaming. He did this twice last night. He is definitely a side sleeper though.

Hello. If she's waking up after 30 or 45 minutes into her nap time, she will go back to sleep. Most babies need 1.5-2 hr naps. Try putting her back on her tummy or leaving her alone to see if she'll fall back asleep. It might surprise you. i have a 5 month old and she ALWAYS wakes up mid-nap, but she'll go back to sleep. I googled this and found that it is very common.... good luck.
